Let Us Redress Our Thoughts, Actions, Behaviors & Attitudes

We have started a brand new year , it’s time for us to examine our hearts, be restored unto God and re-establish for ourselves what is right. I say for “ourselves” because we are powerless over the actions, behaviors and attitudes of others. I say “re-establish” because God has already “established” Truth. At best, we can be an influence but we cannot bring change in anyone else. We are individually responsible for self. We will have no excuse. Each one of us has the same opportunity without partiality to know Truth and bond to it.
Our involvement must be in self-examination. This is crucial or we will be overcome by the strong delusion that is present among us. We must humbly submit ourselves before God.
I for one am asking Him to search my heart and reveal to me anything He sees within it that is not pleasing to Him. I am trusting in His great love, grace, mercy and kindness toward me to grant me opportunity to repent, fix and make things right. I don’t want to be deceived. I desire to live in Truth, He in me and me in Him.
The following scriptures strengthen and comfort all who love the Truth and seek it. On the contrary these same scriptures make bitter those who suppress the truth and desire to remain in wickedness living in their godless, unrighteous humanity.
Romans 1:16-18 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ; for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, The just shall live by faith. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness.
This means what is revealed is God’s anger from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people who in their wickedness keep suppressing the truth, because what is known about God is plain to them, since God has made it plain to them. For ever since the creation of the universe his invisible qualities-both his eternal power and his divine nature-have been clearly seen, because they can be understood from what he has made.
Therefore, they have no excuse; because, although they know who God is, they do not glorify him as God or thank him. On the contrary, they have become futile in their thinking; and their undiscerning hearts have become darkened. Claiming to be wise, they have become fools!
In fact, they have exchanged the glory of the immortal God for mere images, like mortal human beings, birds, animals, reptiles proving the degeneration of man since creation. (President Obama, Dr. Phil, Oprah, Ellen D., Same Sex Marriage, Abortion, Greed etc.) This is why God has given them up to the vileness of their hearts lusts, to the shameful misuse of each other’s bodies. They have exchanged the truth of God for falsehood, by worshipping and serving created things, rather than the Creator!
Morals, truth and love for God and our fellow man seemingly are going to hell in a hand basket. I’ve heard many say that they voted for Obama and don’t even know why. I believe we are living in a time that 2:Thessalonians describes. I’ll quote starting at vs. 10 for space sake.
And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them STRONG DELUSION, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
May all who read this rectify their own hearts!
