We have a magnificent Heavenly Father who cares about His children. Although you may not always be aware of it, He is active in our lives. Revelation 12:11 says “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto death.”

I greet you in the Name of the Lord. I have been reading your webpage,
and it has made an impact in me and so i was moved to write to you.
I am therefore requesting you if it can please you to share with me
more about the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the truth
that will set me free. My soul want to know His will and his word.

Am happy to hear from you and I thank you for your wonderful and encouraging letter. This has been a blessing to me.
Am young in my christian faith, no one preached to me when i got saved, inside me there was something pushing me, i cant fully be able to explain it, but it was supernatural, i read the bible [New Testament NIV] i was given and Jesus touched me and showed me the way, my eyes were open, is like when someone is blind and can see again. I was not going to the church because i dint know Jesus and i was not preached to. My father and my family use to go in a church called Legio Mariah and he made me sacrifice to what i dint know, till now i dont know what was it.
I hear the calling of the Lord and he has walked with me in enabling me share the little have known to the rest with me. I do have alittle fellowship in my home and God is using me to proclaim his good news, but now what i luck is materials and also spiritual books because i my self am young in the faith.
Please nothing like this has ever happened to me, i feel so much Joy inside me and it is my pleasure to tell others about Jesus Christ and about this christian walk. I received Christ few months ago in my room and i want to go deep to his word and know his will in my life. I want to know how to please Him and how to walk according to his will? please i need your help in this.
Pass my love to the rest of the saints with you and tell them i love them and i am happy to get intouch with those who Love the Lord Jesus Christ. People with a pure heart and who have faith in the Lord and this is what am looking for, and when i searched in the computer the spirit led me to your webpage. actually I dont have a computer of my own, i use the one in town where i travel to inorder to get this services.

Hello My Beloveth Sister in the Lord,
I feel so much joy for having you as my friend in the Lord. I count this to be a big blessing this morning, and i thank God for his wonderful and merciful works upon our lives and for allowing us to see this light of the day.
Am indeed happy more than words can explain for having you all. and am grateful for praying for us and standing with us in this walk of faith. Yes we need faith to move God because without faith we cannot please him, thank you sister for your encouraging and wonderful email that have just read.

Sister i was wondering about this scripture, 1 John 5:6 which water is this that is being mentioned here?

In answer to your question Sister Marcella,
The object of our faith must always be the One who came by water and blood-Jesus Christ. Many doctrines and religions believe it is enough to be water baptized never having received the blood of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin. Some religions baptize infant children and teach that because of this baptism/washing by water, if they should die they will go to heaven no matter how they lived, no matter if they accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior or not. This is false doctrine.
Jesus tells us that we MUST be born again as he speaks to Nicodemus. This is only accomplished through the redemptive work that Christ done on calvary’s cross, shedding His blood for the remission of our sins. As he hung on the cross they pierced his side and water and blood came forth. For there is no other name under heaven given whereby we must be saved.
We know that in the natural we are born of woman and brought forth by water and by blood. Jesus too was brought forth this way and spiritually when we accept the new birth into Christ Jesus we are brought forth by water and by blood. We know that we are made of spirit, soul and body. We know that three bare witness also The Father, The Son, The Holy Spirit.
We also know that Jesus is called the Word. And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us. Ephesians 5:26 tells us that He might sanctify and cleanse it (meaning his church, the body of believers on earth not a building) with the washing of water by the word.
So in this particular scripture it speaks of the water and this could mean the water baptism Jesus received of John the baptist and the Spirit descending upon Him as a witness as to the deity of Jesus, also initiating His public ministry.
Remember too that Jesus Himself is the word and the water represents the Word. Jesus tells us in John 3:5, Verily, verily I say unto you except a man be born of water and of the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. This would tend to make you think He was speaking of Himself, being the Word.
I hope this was helpful to you. We are seeking God and gathering the things He is laying upon our hearts to send to you. My husband is going to make and send you some cassette tapes teaching and preaching the word of God. Perhaps I too will help him teach. I am gathering some Gospel music for you to listen to.
If you can, take some time and read the articles that we have posted on our web site I think they will help you. Only one or two appear on the first page the others you will find under archives. We wrote them as the Spirit led and believe they will give you some things to share with your group.
We are very pleased to share the word of God and the knowledge that He has given us with you. Please be careful as to what you read, what you listen to. There are many false teachers and doctrines and the spirit of anti-Christ in this world. Always make sure that everything you read and hear lines up to the word of God and pray, pray, pray. God will not allow you to be deceived if you are honest and humble before Him and hungry for the truth.
